PETERSON
The
Peterson branch of First Cooperative Association has 778,000
bushels of storage space. We offer grain handling, NH3
sales, and carry out chemicals and petroleum products at this
location.
During harvest we handle
an average of 270,000 bushels of beans and 600,000 bushels of
corn. The main cement elevator was built in 1956.
The annex as added in the mid 1960's. The mill was constructed
in 1958 and the office was built in 1965.
We have three older corn
dryers and can dry from 800 to 1,300 bushels per hour, depending
on the moisture level, We have NH3 storage for 26.25 tons
and sell about 225 tons per year.
The feed
manufacturing has been moved to other locations--the
bulk of it to the new feedmill at Larrabee.
We do still make some cattle feed and deliver
cracked corn from this location.
