PETERSON

The Peterson branch of First Cooperative Association is located in the scenic valley next to the Little Sioux River.  There is grain storage for approximately 1 million bushels of corn and soybeans.  In 2006 a new grain dryer was installed, it has the capability to dry approximately 3000 bushels of corn per hour.  The dryer is completely automated and can actually be ran and monitored from inside the office.  It was a very welcomed addition to the location.

In addition to the grain handling facilities, Peterson sells a variety of seed corn and seed beans including the brands of Croplan, Mycogen, Stine and NK.  There is a new seed test plot located east of Peterson on Hwy 10.  They have storage for anhydrous ammonia, along with nurse tanks and a toolbar for the area farmers.

Peterson also carries the usual bagged feed for livestock and pets, packaged chemicals for farms and lawns and petroleum products.  There is a cardtrol gas station located along Hwy 10 in town that is open 24 hours a day.

The Peterson location has two employees: location manager, Laura Sangwin; and grain handler, John Thompson.  The employees take pride in their location and welcome any questions or comments that you may have.
