LINN GROVE

Farmers’ Coop Elevator Company of Linn Grove became a branch of Farmers Cooperative Association of Marathon, in January of 1982, and a branch of First Cooperative Association March 1, 1997.

The Linn Grove branch of First Cooperative Association has three full-time employees.

Services offered are bagged feed warehouse and delivery, pet food, animal health, and petroleum products. We offer bulk fuel delivery, with 85,000 gallons storage.

Our total grain storage is 255,000 bushels.

Leg 2,500 bushels per hour
Quonset 35,000 bushels
Fill with auger
East Bin Site 200,000 bushels
Leg 5,000 bushels per hour

The last years harvest (1998) bushels handled - corn, 585,000 bu., beans, 220,000 bu.

LINN GROVE FERTILIZER PLANT

There are four full time employees at the Linn Grove fertilizer plant. 
One - Product Utilization Enhancement Consultant
Three - Equipment Operators and Mechanical Engineers

Services offered are soil sampling, scouting, consulting, custom application - spraying, dry and NH3.

We have dry storage of 6 - 160 ton bins and NH3 storage of 140 tons.

The fertilizer plant was built in 1977, and a new blender was added in the spring of 1988.

Raven 30,000 gallon storage, March 1992, and 30,000 gallon storage, March 1997

The shop and office were completed and moved into December of 1989. The fertilizer plant was shingled and an addition built on the summer of 1992.
